Inventory Report - Nest 59

Nest #59 was found by Bill & Linda Nelson & Mary Zamara  The nest had 112 eggs and hatched in 48 days. Walkers found that raccoons had predated the nest and there were several dead hatchlings near the nest on 8/29. When we out to check the nest it was clear that it had hatched so we completed the inventory.

Inventory Report - Nests 57 & 58

Nest #57 was found by Paula Baram,Heather Fife & .Charlane Faught The nest had 126 eggs and hatched in 51 days. Large crab hole in the bottom of the nest accounted for the missing eggs.

Nest #58 was found by Terry Fansler, , Val Luzadder, Gloria Reynolds & Ginger & Hanna Seabrook.. The nest had 138 eggs and hatched in 50 days. Multiple crab holes inside nest.

Nest 58 will be inventoried on Monday, August 28th at 8:30 AM. It is located between boardwalks 6 and 7.

Inventory of Nests 49, 55 & 70 Scheduled for 6 PM Friday, August 25th

We will inventory nests 49, 55 and 70 on Friday beginning at 6:00pm.  Nest 49 is between boardwalks 6 & 7 and nest 55 is 100yds north of Boardwalk 6.  Nest 70 is further north near Boardwalk 3.  We will start at nest 49.
