Nests 34 & 35

The crawl for nest # 34 was found by Gary Holtz and his Grandson Clay, Mike Vinson, Sue Thomas Catherine Scully and Rob Jerome on zone 3. Jen Gibson probed, found the nest and relocated to a safer location.

Nest #35 was found by Bill Nelson on zone 2 after walkers Bob Mason Veronica L'Allier and Kathy Murray found the crawl. Jim Lawrence assised in probing and relocating the nest to higher ground.

Nests 31, 32 & 33

Zone 4 walkers Jane Magioncalda, Joe Ficarra and Joshua and Amanda Shilko found the crawl and Jen Gibson probed and found nest #31.

Karen Sewell called from Zone 2 with 2 crawls. The first, nest #32, was found by Mark Doane , prober in training. Then the troops went to the next crawl where Jen Gibson found nest #33.  

Now that is a wonderful day, 3 nests. You have to love it!

 

 

Nest #30

Zone #2 walkers Anne Hess, Pat Backstrom, Judy Morr along with Anne's daughter Jody, Granddaughter Ryan and Grandson Louden found the crawl. Judy acted as the first responder and probed the entire body pit with no luck. Then master prober Bill Greubel found the nest tucked under the rack near the rocks. The 104 eggs from Nest 30 were moved up beach about 200 yards.  Ryan helped put the eggs in the bucket with Anne and Jody gently laying them happily into their new home.  Louden helped pound the stakes in to the screen.

 

Nest #29

The crawl was found by Jo & Jim Eisenhauer, Judy Morr, Richard Glasgow and Isabel Romero near the vehicle entrance on zone #3. Judy beat First Responders Tim Morawski, Sandy MacCoss and Terry Fansler to the nest before they arrived. The 117 eggs were moved above the high tide line.

Nests #27 & 28

 Mike Vinson, Gary Holtz and his grandson, Clay, Sue Thomas, Rob Jerome, and Catherine Scully called first with a crawl on zone #3.  Bill and Linda Nelson responded and found Nest #27.  With the help of Linda Nelson, Veronica L'Allier, Ginger Seabrook and Rob Jerome, the 149 eggs were moved to their new nest behind the Nelson's house.  Their second crawl was at Boardwalk 4.  Bill Nelson responded and was met by Jennifer Gibson.  Bill found Nest #28 with Rob digging to find the eggs.  Jennifer walked the equipment in from her truck and with the help of Sue and Rob were able to leave the nest in situ.
