Inventory Report - Saturday, September 3rd

Nests 50 & 52 were inventoried on Saturday, September 3rd and we had one of the largest crowds of the season! Fortunately, there was a live hatchling in nest #50 to entertain and inspire the onlookers.

Nest #50 was found by Linda Nelson & Judy Morr found the eggs. The 109 eggs hatched in 50 days.

Friday Inventories Rescheduled to 3 PM Saturday, September 3rd

Due to the severe weather forecasted for Friday, the inventories of nests 50 and 52 have been rescheduled for 3 PM Saturday, September 3rd.

Inventories Scheduled for Friday, September 2nd

Weather permitting, we will inventory nests 50 and 52 at 3:30 PM on Friday, September 2nd. We will begin with nest 52 which is located just south of boardwalk 4. We'll then proceed to nest 50 located south of boardwalk 1 next to the vehicle entrance. We suggest you watch for weather related updates.

Inventory Report - Monday, August 29th

Nest #44 was found by Anne Snelgrove, Melanie Jerome & Gayle Evans. It was in situ & hatched in 50 days.There were 111 eggs in the nest.

Nest #48 was found by Joshua and Amanda Shilko. It had 122 eggs in the nest and hatched in 47 days.

Nest # 49 was found by Veronica L'Allier, Bob Mason & Kathy Murray. It was in situ and hatched in 46 days. There were 85 eggs in the nest at inventory but many small shell pieces were outside the nest.

Inventories Scheduled for Monday, August 29th

We will be inventorying nests 48, 49 & 44 at 8:30 AM on Monday, August 29th. We will begin with nest #48 which is located north of boardwalk 1 and just south of the 2nd dog sign. We will then proceed to nest #49 located about 300 yards north of boardwalk 7. Then we'll finish up with nest #44 which is in front of the Pelican Watch Villas. Hope you can make it!
